Delete your Mica account.
How to delete your account for Mica, the browser by lessnoise, and everything stored with it.
Mica works without an account. The account is optional: it only powers Passwords & sync and Send to device, and you sign in to it with Discord. This page applies to Mica on Android and on Windows, which share the same account.
How to delete your account
- Open the-api.lessnoise.online/v1/account/delete in any browser.
- Sign in with the Discord account you use in Mica. Signing in proves the account is yours.
- Check the account name and choose Delete account.
The account and its data are deleted straight away, and every device is signed out.
Can't sign in to that Discord account any more?
Email accounts@lessnoise.online with the subject Delete my Mica account and your Discord username. We check that the account is yours and delete it within 30 days.
You don't need the app installed for either way.
What is deleted
When we delete your account, we remove everything our server stores for it:

| Password vault | Your saved passwords. They are end-to-end encrypted on your device before upload, so the server only holds data it cannot read. |
| Synced settings | The on/off preferences you chose to sync between devices. |
| Devices | The name you gave each Mica install and when it was last seen, used by Send to device. |
| Sent tabs | The address and title of tabs sent to another device that haven't been picked up yet. |
| Sign-in sessions | Tokens that keep your devices signed in. Deleting them signs out every device. |
What is kept, and for how long
- Nothing is kept on purpose. We don't keep a copy of your account or vault after deletion.
- Our database host (Cloudflare) keeps a rolling 30-day history for disaster recovery. Deleted data drops out of it within 30 days and is never restored to your account.
- Short-lived records expire on their own whether or not you ask: sign-in requests after 10 minutes, rate-limit counters after about a minute, and unused sign-in sessions after 30 days. Rate-limit records use a one-way hash of your IP address, not the address itself.
Data that stays on your device
Your browsing history, bookmarks, open tabs, cookies and downloads never reach our server, so there is nothing for us to delete. Remove them in Mica with Settings → Clear browsing data, or by uninstalling the app.
Signing out of Mica on a device ends that device's session but doesn't delete the account. To delete the account and the data above, send the request.
